Board of Directors Election Results 2008
AgTexas FCS members recently voted to elect directors for regions II and III.
Region II saw the reelection of Hillsboro resident James Ray Schronk. He has served on the board since 1993. James Ray will begin serving a two year term as the newly elected Board Chairman.
The new vice chairman is Brownfield resident Ronald Luker, who has served on the AgTexas board since 1998.
The Region III election resulted in a new board member, Scott Nolen, who fills the position vacated by retiring long time director and 7 year board chairman Gary Matthews. Scott and his wife, Wende, reside in Seminole. He has been a member of AgTexas for 11 years. His operation consists of cotton, peanuts and hay production as well as a cow/calf operation.
We want to congratulate the winning candidates, and express sincere appreciation for the time and effort contributed by all nominees. Management also wants to extend a special thanks to the nominating committee for their work in submitting an exceptional slate of nominees for both positions.
