What a memorable Ag Youth banquet season it was celebrating and honoring students, families and agricultural leaders! In just ten years, the Ag Youth of the Month program has grown into a well-respected and widely recognized program, celebrating some of the very best students in agriculture.
This year was extra special because for the first time in the history of the program, every single Ag Youth of the Month student received a scholarship at the banquet.
Through the course of April, we had a banquet in each of our geographical regions: Panhandle, South Plains and Central Texas. We honored a total of forty Ag Youth of the Month students; each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. We awarded three Distinguished Ag Alumni students with a $7,500 scholarship and one Ag Leader in each region that received $1,000 individually and $1,000 matching donation to their 4-H Club or FFA Chapter. Bringing the total of scholarships presented for the 2025-2026 year to $68,500.
AgTexas is proud to invest in the students’ future and the role we know they will continue to play in agriculture.
