AgTexas Farm Credit Services proudly introduces a program that highlights some of the best and brightest young minds in Texas - 4-H and FFA members in the South Plains, Panhandle and Central Texas areas. The program honors students who excel in the classroom and as leaders in their FFA chapters and 4-H clubs.
To recognize and support Ag youth while building relationships within the communities we serve.
2024-25 applications for our Ag Youth of the month program have CLOSED.
Application deadline was - October 18, 2024 @ 5pm.
The Ag Youth Leader of the Year Award is an expansion of the AgTexas Ag Youth of the Month program. It is designed to honor and recognize individuals that have dedicated much of their lives to growing and nurturing the next generation of agriculturists. Youth organizations like FFA and 4-H are integral to the future of agriculture - FFA and 4-H leaders are integral to the future of students.
If you know an advisor, club leader, extension agent, etc. that deserves to be acknowledged, please nominate them! The nomination window is closed. It was from Aug 16 to Dec 31, 2024, 5pm.
Our Ag Youth Leader of The Year recipients for the 2023-2024 cycle are Rebecca McEndree – Shallowater FFA Advisor, Savannah Bowers – Stephenville FFA Advisor, and Jeff Klose – Canyon FFA Advisor. We have an incredible scholarship opportunity for alumni of the #AgTexas Ag Youth of the Month program!
This is a merit-based scholarship, designed to provide aid to former Ag Youth of the Month students with their continued collegiate endeavors.
Our Ag Youth Distinguished Alumni Scholarship applications are OPEN from Jan 6, 2025 through Feb 16th, 2025 @ 5 pm!

Since filming Kennedy's video in October of 2023, she has since joined our AgTexas credit team full-time! And it all started with our Ag Youth programs!
Another successful #AgYouth banquet season has concluded! AgTexas was proud to give nearly $52,000 in scholarships and award money this year alone! We also had the highest amount of applicants since the program’s inception — and, as usual, the quality of students and advisors were top-tier!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to pour into tomorrow’s agriculture, today! Congratulations to all #AgYouth recipients on a job well done! Keep up the good work! 👏
